This policy covers the AlternateXR Showcase app for Apple Vision Pro and the alternatexr.com website. AlternateXR Ltd (company number 16943134, registered at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX) is the data controller.

The app

AlternateXR Showcase does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app makes no network connections.

The app uses the cameras and sensors on Apple Vision Pro to display pass-through AR and to anchor content to your surroundings. This processing happens entirely on your device, handled by Apple's visionOS. AlternateXR has no access to camera imagery, sensor data, or any representation of your room.

The website

If you contact us through the website or by email, we keep your name, email address, and message so we can reply and manage our relationship with you. We keep correspondence for as long as we have an ongoing business relationship or a legitimate reason to retain it, then delete it. The lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interests.

We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If a future version of the app changes what data it handles, we will update this policy and the app's App Store listing before release.
